Default Horses for Courses?

After reading a lot of posts regarding nitro powered rc cars, i really need to ask one question. What are the different types of off-road cars /tracks designed for.

Buggies, Monster Trucks, Stadium Trucks, 1/8 etc etc.

I'm not sure which one i should get, I will run it mostly on a bmx track with pretty big jumps and really lose dirt and rocks.

Default RE: Horses for Courses?

I'd go 1/8th scale buggy or 1/10th stadium truck for a BMX track...
