I fly nothing else on my separates equipped H'birds and get great performance from them.

It is one of the best gyros you can use as far as having a rock solid tail. Unfortunately, it is on the heavy side. I had to run 3 LiPo cells to be happy on my Piccolo with the gy240. I am now using a much lighter non-HH gyro, the GWS pg03. It is lighter, and I can use 2 cell LiPo packs and be happy. It is non-HH so I have to use revo mixing from the transmitter. And the tail simple does NOT behave quite as well as when I had the gy240. I miss that steadiness. I tell muself that I am being forced to be a better pilot by not relying on the gyro, and having to fly the heli myself. It helps, most of the time.
