All,
Here is a link to some questions in another forum that I had about the G26/4 * 120.

- The sad thing is I don't know if that's good . . .it sounds good . . .is it? Can I break in a gas engine with a pipe, or should I use a pitts style/whatever? Any ideas on cowls? Sorry for the silly questions . . . but I want to minimize mistakes on my part . .
Thanks!

Direct quote from the manual sent with every new G26..
"No specific break in is required..
The engine is gradually broken-in as it is used and the output is also gradually increased"
For checking the whole conditions of the airplane, boat and helicopter, it may be better to operate the engine at slow RPM for 1/3 tank and mid-high RPM ror 2/3 tank..
It's better than anything else I have tested in that size range prior to the introduction of the G26..
The stock muffler rpm is 8200, a Slimline Pitts muffler is 8500, a Dale Abell muffler is 8800..
If you fly where there is a noise problem forget the pipe and Abell muffler....
There are 3 different header configurations, look on the Mac's Products web site...
The pipe can be placed close to the engine or farther away, better to clear a cowl...
