DA 100 Fuel Consumption
For those of you running this engine with stock mufflers and proper throttle management, what is your approximate run time per ounce? If you're using a 32 ounce tank as I plan to, how many minutes run do you experience with a reasonable amount of fuel left in your tank after landing?

RE: DA 100 Fuel Consumption
They claim 2.5 oz per minute consumption at full throttle and I've
found that to be pretty accurate. That equates to about 10 minutes
with ample reserve. With judicious use of power rather than just
running flat out you can easily stretch that to 15 or maybe even 20.

10 mins is a good number for pattern flying........if the engine is new........poss more when run in.
If you are asking for 3d flying........who knows........it will run all day at idle !!

RE: DA 100 Fuel Consumption
I set my timer for 14 minutes and land with 1/3 of a tank left with a 32 oz tank. My plane weighs 23 lb. I'm at full throttle for no more than
45 seconds during the flight. I cruise at 1/2 throttle or less and usually spend a couple of minutes hovering around.
