Adjusting toe in & out Plus camber without gauges!
How would i go about doing that without any gauges and not buying any either since i strictly bash with this buggy. Toe in and out , how do i adjust with nothing and get it right. Or is there some trick that someone knows to get it perfect with normal house hold items [sm=drowning.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=bananahead.gif]

The accuracy of our eyes is amazing... So you can try to estimate how much front toe you want... but when deciding on any adjustments, make sure to make left/right links exactly the same.

if u want to race and get the best handling from your buggy u problably need the setup tools but for trashing the calipers would be fine to set up the car resonable well. basically where the arms meet the hubs use the calipers to set the distance of the screws thats what i used before i got the setup equipment, what ever ajustment you make to one screw make the opposite screw on the other arm the same distance. toe in are ajusted using these screws but without the jigs u are making a guess at what you are setting it at. If you know someone with the jigs ask them to set it up for you it should only need to be done once unless u break an arm

Hey rozzibandit, go to Brennan's and get the RPM camber gage, in the back where he has the tires, it's only $9.99. That'll be a lot easier and better than eyeballin' it. For toe, you can get 2 straight edges (like rulers or yardsticks) and, looking down at it from above, put 'em on ea. side in the center-line of the wheel and that will help get 'em even on ea. side. There's measurements in fractions of an inch that equals degrees of camber/ toe but I don't recall off hand where I saw them...
