Can any Australian members pass on the names of some good dealers here, or is it better to import directly?

There are some good dealers in Australia. You just have to know where to find them.
I do bring parts in from the States for my toys, but use Australian supply as much as possible.
The problem here is that gas boats aren't all that popular yet. But interest is growing.
Go & have a look on Jims RC Boat Dock. There's quite a few Aussies on there that will steer you right. Some great Americans & Europeans that are full of great information.
