Default JR XS3 Question. Need help.

Hey folks,

As many of you probably know, this radio is synthesized and comes with a synthesized received, the JR RS300.

My question is....

Can I use the radio with the Novak 75Mhz Synthesized receiver (I thinks it's the XXL) or do I need to use the JR RS300 one?

Thanks.

Sure you can, just make sure you get the one in the right range. So if you have a 75Mhz Transmitter make sure to get the 75 Mhz [link=http://www.teamnovak.com/products/receiver/XXTRA/xxtra_new.htm]XXtra[/link]

Of course, from what I have seen (could be wrong) the actual JR Synthasized Reciever is CHEAPER than the XXtra. So I wouldn't bother.

Yeah the JR is cheaper and I don't know if you have bought it yet, but the RX is just as small, its easy to put anywhere and the channels hold well. I have never had any glithing from mine.

Several of my friends have JR XS3 radios and they have had glitching problems.
The receivers get a little dust in them and they get glitchy. Try to seal your box up good to keep the dust out as much as possible. If you have an AM radio and you are standing between two FM radios it will go crazy.
