RE: Points Gap
Thanks to all that replyed. and Bdtsr---you are right on the ID. Mine is the Alum hub with one ring. Of coarse we could always P&G it. Ha. Ha. Man what extremes. I think we have enough in the know folks around here to keep from doing that. I was glad to hear that the CH-Ign. work well on these engines. I will have to call Terry and see what he has. Bound to lose alot of #s by ridding ones self of the fly wheel and the Mag. Just looking at the front end. The hook-up will be very Diff. than on the Homelite Weedies. Don't know where you would have a longer Hub with the magnet in the rear or a thin Alum wheel behind the hub. Later and thanks Hooker53

RE: Points Gap
OOOh Noooo.
The CH conversion for the US/Quadra 41 won't bolt on to a points engines, if your a little crafty you can make a bracket that will work.
The crank is longer on a points engine so the air gap between the sensor and magnet is a bit large.
There arn't enough point engines left to tool up a bracket for them[]
