Default Pistol or a 2 stick ?

I'm new to r/c, maybe you guys can help me into some radio equipment. I'm going to by an electric car, prolly the tamiya TB-01 so I need a radio unit. I heared the FM had less interference the AM, does it make a big difference in electric cars?
Also ... which type of radio would you suggest? a Pistol or a two-stick?
I'm going to either Dutaba or Hitec, any options?
Thanks in advance

-if you get FM or AM depends on how much money you want to spend and if youre racing or not. FM is more expensive but has less interference and a stronger signal but if you get AM75mhz then you should be fine.
-id go with a pistol because it makes you feel like your driving a real car and it makes you feel more in control.
-go with the Futaba. more of a trusted and better known name. plus ive heard hitec has bad intereference.
