Default Coloring Sig Koverall

I am covering a Proctor Antic and will be using Sig Koverall and want the finish to be opaque and not paint it with dope with dope, as i want the framing to show through. The Koverall by itself is too white and i'd like to get it a little darker to look like linen.

Anyone have any hought on how to darken it up?

Thanks

Default RE: Coloring Sig Koverall

Use some wood stain to antique it a little while I have not used tea I understand it will work also.
