Default 15 minute rechargeables

has any one used the rayovac 15 minute rechargeables? how good are they and are they worth the money.

I would not consider plain untabbed unsolderable cells for your plain alkaline cell holders, because an alkaline cell is 1.5 volts, so 4x1.5 = 6v. But Ni-Cads and NiMh's are 1.2 volts. So 4x1.2 = 4.8 volts for your equipment. So that equals decreased performance. I think getting a preassembled 5cell nicad or nimh pack would be better.

Experienced members, feel free to correct me.

uum still there not solderable and you have to take them out every time to recharge them in a special charger, assuming that the batteries are NiMH, if they're nicad, im not sure, PLUS does it only run for 15mins?
