Needed: Stabs for Aeroworks edge 33%
Due to a midair incident, (not my fault) I need a set of stabs for my aeroworks edge 33% Arf. If any one has any from the arf, or the kit, I would gladly pay for them. I have not been able to call aeroworks yet, (Saturday) but will if no one has a set. I really only need the left stab, but would take the whole thing if someone has any. Thanks.

I suppose you want pics huh?
Here is the damage after landing, and of the covering cut away, and then what I have gotten fixed so far. I had to remake the bottom of the broken former.
I got to tell you though this really ticks me off! I was on the back side of a rolling circle, way out in the feild, and bam this little 40 size stick runs into on the inverted portion on the roll! At first I thought I was good and all the falling peices were his until I decided that I had to hold a lot of down, and the plane was flying funny. I'm pretty lucky though all that was holding my batteries in were the wire ties I had used on the conectors! []

Got the bottom of the fuse back together. Looks pretty good. Now all I have to do is replace the batteries, straigten the landing gear, and GET SOME STABS! Surely someone has a crashed one with a good tail section?

Hi There,
A buddy of mine stuffed in his arf a couple of months ago...all that was left was the stabs.I'll see if our other friend wants to part with them.

Brian,
sorry about your plane. The same has happened to me 2 X now. I lost the same stab and on another time lost my virtical both caused by reckless 40 size planes. Not even a sorry or whatever. I hope you get your stabs on real soon. In both cases for me I got the planes flying again after some time. You must have a cool head and got it down because it looks awesome with the work you have done so far!
Good luck,
Joe

Thanks guys for the kind words. All in all I only threw my sunglasses so not to bad. I am just glad it wasn't any worse. I have learned not to fly these anymore if there are to many other planes flying. Hopefully hekter-RCU, can hook me up with a stab, and get me flying again soon.

Ordered a stab, and elevator set today. 100 bucks plus shipping that that didn't even include the tube. Oh well just money right?
