Default LIPO BATTERY HOLDER

Hi does anybody have any good ideas for a lipo battery holder for an aerohawk. Id like to keep the original one for my li/ion, but I cant get the lipo far forward enough to get the right CG.[:@]

I was thinking maybe something that fixed onto the original one without adding too much extra weight.

Cheers

Hi quaker1,

I saw on one of super-hornets's postings of how he used velcro and a peice of flat plastic cut from a cd case.

So...I went to Home Depot and got some velcro, the kind that is made for "organizing wires". It comes in a rainbow colored package of 5 velcro strips for about $3-4USD.

The velcro has the felt on oneside and the micro hooks on the other side. This is not the sticky two-part velcro. Kinda difficult to explain, but it velcro's onto itself by looping around something.

Then I used the circle velcro, with sticky on the backside, onto my battery packs; both lipo and nimh. It works great.
Pictures to come...

I made this in the end, its made of carbon rod and aluminium that i turned at work. The whole thing weighs about a gram and I can still use the old clip with the original battery.
