JR come out with a new radio to replace the 622, it''s the 6102. Why buy old stock, I would go with the 6102. I know a guy the has one and he likes it. If it was me, I would save a little more money and go with the Futaba 9C or the JR 8103, that way you won't need to buy another radio down the road. The 6102 will work fine if all you want is a 6 channel radio. Here's a pic of the new 6102.

helisfreak,

THe 622 only has 3 pitch curve for setup. The 6102 which IMHO is an outstanding radio for the price. Comes with 5 point pitch curve ( which is standard in top of the line heli radio's) and lots of other option. If you are set on JR and don't want to spend alot of money the 6102 is a great radio.

Hey... here is my situation... I currently have a JR-XF421 ok.. .and it 5 channel... but it rediculous.. the 5th channel is only a button.. switching on and off.. and it only has airplane mixing.... So Im looking for a helicopter programable radio... Charlie.. you are right, I did run over the 6102... it look pretty nice and have almost all the good feature... and a reasonable price to...Here is how it is... right now i have a 7 channel reciever from my jr421... Will this work if I buy like the 6102 or the JR8103??? and i mean all the channel setup , how is that going to work... on the reciever i have ... throttle...aileron...eveleron...rudder...aux1, aux2, gear.... how will this work?
I was planning to sell my jr421 TX... (maybe for 60 buck??) and add in to buy a good radio...
