Default Hinges

It’s been to many years since I have built a plane. I can not remember the best steps regarding hinge installation.

Is it like this?

Glue in hinges and then cover

Or
Cover surfaces and then glue hinges

Please help

Default RE: Hinges

I build everything, hinge all surfaces(no glue) and do a dry fit of every component in the plane and check CG before I cover. Once everything is the way I want it I do all the covering. At this point I have an ARF, mount any surfaces like rudder elevator, install hinges using glue of course... install the engine servos an so on.
