Default Mechanical Retract Servo Speed

How do I slow down the speed of a mechanical retract servo to get a more scale like motion?

Most retract servos cannot be slowed down, they go lock to lock on command as fast as possible. There are one or two high end units that are proportional, but I do not know what they are. If you can get enough travel and torque out of a standard servo, there is a thing called "Go-Slow", that allows you to set the transit time to whatever you want.
