How do u make high frequency esc substitute?
Regarding the problems found around tail motors, it's told that by using high frequency esc, you can extend the lifespan of your tail motor. But high frequency esc's are expensive. Are there any ways to make a substitute?
By adding diodes, resistors, capacitors? By replacing it with direct drive motors (is the lifespan longer than stock tail motors?)?
I've also tried by using a better motor using tamiya motors (from superhornet) but the thing is, i'm still using stock batteries and it can't support the power needed to lift the heli from the ground. I'm now using 4 diodes to hold the tamiya motor from sucking too much current.
