Default aerohawk battery mounting problem

broke my landing gear so i decided to make my own out of wire. actually an insulation support rod. everything went fine till i went to put in the battery. since i drilled through the main chassis and bent down from there my battery holder is too narrow to clip on. any ideas for an easy fix? tried mounting my pack sideways under the mixer board (2 cell lipo) but the cg isn't right. now what?

Default RE: aerohawk battery mounting problem

Hi

What about you bring the battery compartment clip down a bit so u have more room.

This is my Home Made Landing Skids and Battery Compartment:
Landing Skids Horizontal = Old stock landing skids.
Landing Skids Vertical = Cloth Hanger metal. U can use Bicycle tyre titanium spoke.
Battery Compartment Rail = Aluminium Tubing
Battery Compartment Bracket = Computer 5 1/4 Bay cover.
Cheese Holes = Reduce unecessary weight.
