Default Two versions of MVVS 58

Here in The Netherlands someone offered, second hand, a special version of the MVVS 58. This version should have even more power.
Because I had my doubts a mail was send to MVVS.
This answer I got:

Dear Mr. Meij,

There exist engine No: 3001 P - it is version Prosport which has better bearings mark NTN, stronger conrod bearing INA , tuning intake difuzer on the carburetor , another conrod, titanium prop screw, modified piston, laser marking and better power.

This version will be avaiable not only for the Netherland, but everywhere.

Best regards: Svajda

If you look at the US MVVS site, the first pictures have this intake diffuzer, and also less strengthening ribs. Are these first pictures, pictures of this special, version?

Groeten,
Hans

I noticed the same thing on my last communication with the factory. The intake diffuser is available seperatley for the regular 58cc engine. There are now factory built headers available for the 58cc engines as well. It is my feeling that the change in con-rod and bearing was done to provide some cross-product compatability with the new 116cc boxer engine. The "Prosport" version of the engine will cost about 10% more than the standard 58.

A German distributor announces the different types:

Oh boy, they have a bunch of different engines in the 45cc, 58cc and 116cc sizes, only pictures and data on 2-3 of them though.

I can't wait for the 45. I think it will be just the ticket for all the 50cc airplanes out there...
