Discharge OutPut Error
Hi all,
I have just bought a new 8 cell samsung pack rated at 1850 MAh - Mi-Mh
I have charged the pack no problem.
1 question though I am using the charger as stated above. when I try and dis charge the pack it comes up on the display OUTPUT ERROR
It also did this with the Hitec pack I could charge it ok but not di charge
Features
• Delta Peak detection/Zero current voltage check
• Fast charge/discharge: 1~25 Cell NiCad/NiMH packs
• 2~12v Lead Acid batteries, 3.6~11.1v Lithium batteries
• 100~5000mA fast charge current
• 20 watt discharge rate
• User definable memories for: battery pack type, number of cells, capacity, charger/discharge currents
• 2 line LCD display
• On line charge/discharge status check
• Audible alarm function
• Integral cooling fan
• DC 12v input voltage
• Reverse polarity protection

Are you removing the pack from the radio or are you trying to do it through the charger jack? If you are doing it through the jack, they can't be discharged that way because of a diode in the radio.
