Well Last two weekends, I took my F-15 out and put in around a dozen or so flights and am very impressed with the plane. I have it powered by a RAM 1000 with TAM smoke system. I slightly modified the main gear (lowered by a 1/4 inch) to get the stance just right. It has gear doors (I highly recommend). I have the standard SM fuel set up (110 oz) but with extra 48 oz for fuel and 32 oz for smoke system. It is the elevon version and has full set up of drop tanks and missiles (not pictured though). Last Sunday we took it out to a grass field to get an idea of its performance and even with close to 194 oz of fuel, takeoff and landing was no problem.

Everything works flawlessly and I would highly recommend this plane to anyone wanting a true ARF with great looks.

Also some pictures I took are attached. BTW, all the door cylinders are located under the engine protected by half moon of a CF bypass (an old one that I cut out from) screwed onto the engine rails, that completely protects everything from the heat.

Adil,

Looks fantastic. Glad to hear the RAM 1000 performes well as that is what I am using. I see you have the lettering around the star on the vertical fin. Before I go and see about having some made, have you got a source?

Hi Bill,

You would be very happy with the RAM 1000 power in this plane. BTW, the wind that day was gusting around 25-30 MPH and the takeoff (in that video clip) was done DOWNWIND just to see how the plane reacted - NO PROBLEM !!

Yes - for anyone interested in the tail decals, all the hard work is done. I have the guy listed below make them for me from vinyl. They are the exact size and were duplicated from my Aeroloft set. I did not want to use dry transfers and then clear coating them so hence the vinyl and I must say they are EXCELLENT. Mention my name and he will know what you are asking for.
