Default HPI Super Nitro Rally ?'s

Hello I am the owner of two tmaxxs ones a .21 and others an OS .15. I'm interestead in purchasing an on/light offroad car. I think I've got my heart set on an HPI Super nitro rally. But before I buy I have a few questions:

What engines are a bolt on for the Nitro Star 15FE also does the car come with a slide or rotary carb setup? Also for the engine I'm looking to spend around 150-200 on a new more powerful one.

Are there any aftermarket parts other than ones from HPI for it?

Thats about it other than testimonials from any1? Thanks.

The Super Nitro Rally is a cool car!! The 15fe needs to go, good long lasting motor but at only .56hp the 15fe is not up to the task. If you purchase the optional motor mounts you can swap in almost any .12-.18 small block side exhaust engine. In stock form it comes with a rotary carb, but you can use a slide if you want. A lot of hop-up can be found in the after market, you just have to know what to look for. The main chassis is basically a Nitro MT. Some of the suspension parts (arms, etc) are from the super nitro rs4. The wheels are 2.2in. HPI sells rally tires for it, but sidewalls are too low for bumpy off road. For heavier off road use you can mount up some 2.2in rear buggy tires. Some ProLines do the trick for me. I hope this helps you!!
