1 hour 45 minutes
That's how long my new tmaxx lasted. DOH!!!
Was just starting the forth tank of fuel (3 seconds @ full throttle) and on the fifth pass managed to steer the wrong way into a fence. According to the manual, the bits that are broken are the rear skidplate and rear bulkheads. Still, I had great fun doing it. Of to the model shop in the morning.
When starting back up should I run the engine for a while to warm it up before continuing on tank four? Should it normally be warmed up (after it's broken in)?

dp_Goose,if it were my truck I would go thru step 1-4 on the the same tank.. Just start off with step 1 and gradualy move up to step 4 by the time you reach half a tank.
Just dont start running it wide open just yet.

I feel your pain man. On my 4th or 5th tank i almost ran my brand new truck into a parking block at a good 30mph i turned reall sharp and just side swiped it my heart was almost beating out of my chest. I don't know how hard you hit but you might find other pieces busted so I would take it apart before you go (if you already haven't) because one time I crashed mine bad and I think i have just managed to fix everything that broke ex. I found an A arm pin was bent pretty bad, all my bumper screws were bent horribly and I had a crack in the gas tank.

Thanks for the advice. I hope nothing else is broken. I'm counting on the shop having the spares cause we've got a bank holiday on monday (in the UK) so I want be out there again (in the park this time). You just don't realise how quick your reflexes have to be with these things. How do people cope with racing at these silly speeds?

youll get better at driveing over time, i heard peeps talk about running the "break in" in figure 8's so you both "break in" the engine and get practice at driveing the truck before you have it going WOT at 30mph at the fence
