my little rc group and i have decided to build our own race track for lack a good place to drive. anyone ever build one of these before? we have lots and lots of toys to work on it (road grader, back hoe, Caterpillar and some others). it will be a dirt track down by a river bed (not in danger of flooding). still with all the toys though we are real novices at building one so any little tips would be nice.

i would make a track with a jump or two and a couple of twisty turns to make it fun and a challenge at the same time

hmm. think jumps on the outside ring of the track would be fun? we were kinda debating on whether to make kind of a criss cross in the middle with moguls and jumps and such, but on the outside i was thinking for the whole full speed banking turns, gotta see how fast they go somewhere

start with a basic oval with jumps and dips.expand later.

you gotta have a cross in you track.. but what you gotta do is make one track just stright no mogels or jumps and make the other one a jump over the first one!
