Default Kyosho T-33

I just got a Kyosho T-33 in a trade, but it came with a 8 cell 2400 Nicad pack. This pack is very heavy and am worried about its performance. What is a good pack for this plane with the stock motor and fan? Also, what motor and battery pack do you guys recommend to make this plane zip along? Thanks for your help.

It will fly better with the 8 cell. Extra volts equate to more RPM.
If you have the micro servos and a Rx like the Hitec 555, then
that will be a trade-off for the extra cell. It's a must to have the
micro gear. The plane will fly with a 7 cell pack, but not much more than level flight. If the pack you have is fast dumping, then
the T-33 should be pretty snappy. The first run after a chg. is not
as good as the second or third of the day. Most packs like to be
exercised a bit before they reach their peak.
