Default Carbon fibre, which glue?

Im building a Great Planes "Fundango" park-flier, and is thinking about substituting the fibre-glass tail boom with a carbon-fibre type (to save some weight). I have never worked with carbon-fibre before, and wonder if epoxy is the right glue to fix the tail boom to the balsa surfaces?

Yep,

just make sure you use a slow epoxy, and expose some of the fibers of the boom at the attach point IE sand the gloss of the shaft and get to bare carbon. With a slow flyer like that I dont think you would really need the CF but thats up to you.
