Edge 540 rib drawings needed please
Hi all.
I have an OMP Edge 540 (40 size) and recently I have damaged the wing. I URGENTly need the drawings of the ribs since the drawings are not available on the plan which was sent to me in the kit. I did trace the ribs before I built the wing, but stupid me lost half the drawings.
Is there a good heart out here who is willing to send me a copy of the rib drawings by post or else via email ?
thanks a million

Fist of all, I don't have rib templates.
However, if you have the plans, you can create the wing rib templates yourself.
On the OMP Edge, all of the ribs are identical from the spar forward. From the spar back, they are symmetrical and straight.
So, once you know the length of a rib and have the outline from the spar forward, all you need is a ruler to draw the rest.

Thanks! so you are saying that from the tip to the spar are identical and then all I need to know is the length from the spar to the trailing edge, of say the good wing ribs, and draw a straight line ? From the tip to the spar should be no problem cause I do have the shape.
If that is the case that is really simple and I did not think of that. Thanks a million
