Default Brushless Motor Connection

I just bought a Pheonix 10 ESC and a Model Motors Mini AC 1215/20 Brushless Motor and am having trouble hooking it up. I have three wires (Red, Black & White) coming out of the ESC and three posts on the motor BUT I can not find any instruction as to which wire goes where. Can someone pleas help???

What about connecting the ESC with the three wires to the 410 Piccolo Motor (which only have 2 posts)???

Many Thanks,
Henry

I suspect that if your picolo motor only has 2 wires, its a brush motor not a brushless motor. This means your Pheonix (brushless controller) cannot be connected to the picolo 410 motor. You will need a brush motor ESC for the picolo 410 motor. I am not familar with the picolo so this is an educated guess, but only brush motors have 2 terminals..
