No More Tail Problem with DragonFly
Here are some of my works to avoid broken tail blade and motor of Dragonfly. This may also be used for other micro heli. If you are in the US, this only costs $24.88 plus tax. The tail motor of the Dragon fly can be used for about 10 flies or lsser if you landed on the tail. Thsi also brake the tail blade all the time. I bought an Vectron Ultralite (see Picture) at a Toy store. This toy is great for kid, but I disassembly it to get the motor and its propeller. I cut the Vectron plastic propeller to the size of the original tail blade (see Picture). Replace the original Dragonfly motor with the Vectron motor. Vectron motor is a little longer, so it is much stronger than the original one. Re solder all wires, and you may reverse the polarities of wires if the heli spins in a wrong way. Vectron propeller has a smaller shaft, so you need to enlarge it a little to fit the Dragonfly tail shaft. Balance it and place put them together (see Picture). That's all I have to do. I have flown my heli for more than 20 times, and still going. I will let you know next time for an unbroken able main blade for only $2.00 dollars when I tried mine for many more times. If you need a detail discription of this work, please let me know. Have fun.

RE: No More Tail Problem with DragonFly
Interesting. I'd say it was just like the E_Sky tail motor (they are longer too) but they burn out quick like their smaller counterparts.
Why not try a DD tail motor ? They last a long time. I have yet to burn one out in two months of flying every day. The small prop is great too. I've never broken (or even hit) the tail prop.
