Default EJF Bob E Cat (45 " EDF) Motor/Battery Combo ?

Working on the Bob E Cat from Electric Jet Factory. Wondering what people are using for a good/high performance motor/battery setup. Tentative plan is for a 22/30/2 brushless motor with a single 8000 Mah 4S4P LiPo pack. This aircraft has a 45" wingspan and has retracts. thanks. Bob

For that motor you will want a 5S3P or 5S4P pack. Another proven combo is the B50-15L on 6S3P or 6S4P. If you really want performance try a B50-13XL on 10S2P or 10S3P.

2 Hacker B50-13XL's with C-50 rotors, 1 10S4P pack driving both motors in parallel. 98 amps at brake release - about 4.3 horsepower and 12 pounds of thrust.
