Default What servo to get for steering?

My steering servo broke yesterday (opened it to confirm, one gear is cracked in 2). What servo should I get to replace it? I ordered the ofna servo saver as recommended but should I get a metal gear servo ir can the ofna save plastic gear servos? Anyway I'd prefer metal to be safe if its not too much more expensive.

Which would be the best?

Thanks

I'd definitely ger a metal gear servo... The Hitec HS-645MG Servo, High Torque w/ Metal Gears. Tower has it and it will have torque to spare.... 131 oz/in @ 6V.

Hitec also sells a 5645 metal geared servo that provides 168in/oz of torque. Its also a digital if you have a radio that can take advantage of it.Its still awesome if you dont. Not to pricey and I've had none of the centering issues that some complain of with the standard 645.

The 625MG is what I am using for throttle/brake. [link=http://www.hitecrcd.com/Servos/hs625.htm]HERE IS THE 625MG[/link] info and [link=http://www.hitecrcd.com/Servos/hs645.htm]HERE IS THE 645MG[/link] info. I went a step above and purchased the [link=http://www.hitecrcd.com/Servos/hs5645.htm]5645MG[/link] and I just love it. The 5645MG should only run you between $50-$60 US. I think I got mine from RCBoyz.com for $49.

I hope this helps.
