Why does it say the SCALE bodies are Not Recommended for the HB Elite FP or CP. But it is OK for VII and VIII

They look to be on the same side, but if they are on the other side how would this effect the way the body fits, you wouldc just cut out the side the tail rotor is on.. right?

Would control be less because it is on the other side?

The tail props look the same to me

I bet it fine to do. They just don't want ppl crying to their support staff if they screw it up.

The tail is on the other side now. They have made it a tractor config. for cooling the tail motor. I assume it would have trouble moving enough air if a scale body was in the way.

This would be put on a HB Elite FP, so I don't want to do any stunts or tricks, just some cool scale flying, nothing fancy

It would look good on FP but on the CP it would bet hard to do a trick.

Today I was flying my hummingbird today with the scale body on and when i trottled up i heard -crack crack crack CRACK
Then some bits flew off, then a severe vibration and the helicoper fell on its wheels.
It landed with a hole (about the size of a 2 pence on the boom) in the body and a broken tail rotor.

Turns out that that because the tail rotor was running fast the tail rotor bended inwards towards the body (as it should, because it is plastic) and hit the body.

Even if you have a hummingbird elite, i dont know how hard it is to get the scale body on it but the scale body looks nice on the ground and in the air,
btw: i have the bell222 fuselage
