RE: steering problem
I have noticed the same thing with my SS and i am using the Hobbico Super Hi-Torque Servo. The only thing i could say is that when u are not drving the car look at the tires and try to turn them. i dont know if its me but it barely turns, but when u are driving it turns alot more but they will repel back to the center when it is moving.

RE: steering problem
ok. what kamil means is that when he turns his wheels to the right, they stay right, but when he turns the wheels to the left, the wheels dont stay left and they become straight. kinda odd. it is not the trim settings. seems like something is getting jammed.

RE: steering problem
mine did exactly the same and sometimes didnt turn at all.
it was the servo, so i replaced it with a higher torque one which seems to have done the trick

RE: steering problem
MT's have lots of trouble overcoming the servo saver when on high traction surfaces. Mine always track straight or flop back and forth when driving in grass. The wheels just want to keep tracking straight so the servo saver gives up and your steering is lousy. If it only happens at higher speeds I'd say it's a servo saver issue.

RE: steering problem
I have the same problem when my truck is up on my stand with the wheels off the ground. I slightly lift the lower arms up and it works perfect. I have no problems on the track since I installed the Airtronics 94358 servo. This thing is AWESOME!!! 200 oz. torque at .10 sec! Made an unbelievable difference. Not sure where they bind up but they do. Try that servo. It's not cheap but worth every penny. Got mine new for $90 off ebay. RCBOYZ were selling them for $99.99 BIN. Watch for them. I bought 2 other JR servos. The 590 and the 650. This Airtronics blows them away. Would have Spent the same or less if I had just bought this one in the 1st place.

RE: steering problem
yeah the servo is good enough it moves good but it just doesnt repel back to its original posistion do u think my steerin posts can be to tight or i have some other screws on there to tight

RE: steering problem
Does it come back when you lift the lower arms slightly? You can check the screws to see if they are too tight but mine still does it when the wheels are just hanging there. I've had it apart MANY times. I'm thinking of replacing all that with aluminum but thats kind of pricey. Servo helped tremendously though.

RE: steering problem
I would say you need a stronger servo and the servo saver. There is an article on how to upgrade the stock servo saver to the one from the ofna dominator. I have done this and remember not to keep the servo saver spring tooooooo loose.

RE: steering problem
did you check the servo with out the servo saver tight your finger on it and turn left and right look if it turns that means the servo saver is jammed open it up and look wuts wrong with it or get a new one from tower hobbies good luck
