me tank is leaning it self???
ok i think i have the half tank lean problem i saw it some where on here but dont know where.
my friend dont know which way is leaning and riching.

lean is less fuel, more air - less lube, more heat - more power... faster broken engine
Rich is more fuel, less air - more lube, less heat - less power.... longer lasting engine.
when the fuel in the tank is above the carb (HSN) intake there is some syphon effect moving the fuel into the engine out of the tank...when the fuel level is below that point there is no syphon effect so there is less fuel pressure to move the fuel to the engine... therefore the engine is a little bit leaner at that point. AKA half tank lean.
Needle valves work (a bit) like a little clamp, the further in you turn the screw (righty tighty, lefty loosy) the smaller the gap for FUEL to flow through...thus leaning the engine...
So clockwise on the needle, moves the screw in, closing the hole, leaning the engine.....
Anticlockwise, needle out, more fuel, richer mix......
