Default Anyone herad of the twister?

Hi I spoke to my lhs who sell the picolo, twister and the zoom. He is recommending the twister because its cheaper for the beginner, flight tested before it leaves the factory and is more durable than the others.

Any one know if there is a fact to this or is he trying to flog me a non seller/

what do you think?

The prices are:

zoom = £200
Picolo = £225
Twister £170

i know that you can get some of these cheaper, but i am not bothered about the cost. Just i want to get one tomorrow so i can start flying... well at least try.

Every heli is flight tested before it leaves the factory. Well, almost every heli. That just means that they made sure the motors turn before it leaves the factory. They do not fly it. U can tell this cuz some helis that are flight tested have their CofG very far off. Twister's a no-name. Either that or very new. Go with something tried and trusted.

It's another derivative of honeybee.

I have the Jabo2 and I'm very happy with it. I've had it for more than 2 months now and it hasn't given me the same problems the aerohawk had on the very first day I opened the box and quickly led to BIG DISAPPOINTMENTS.

With the Jabo2, all I do is flying, charging the batteries, and replacing burnt tail motors (excluding some repairs due to crashing--it's part of the learning process) . When you get a new helicopter, you pray you're going to get a good one without any electronic problems to begin with. With electronic problems, you'll quickly bog down during the learning process.

Do more research on micro helicopters before finalizing your decision.

i bought the twister anyway. thanks for the advice. It is very new on the market and flies pretty well. i had the shop test it out and show me its capabilities for a beginner and hovers like a dragonfly...well at least he could do that. i have had it for a couple of days now and just starting to keep it hovering for a while.

im happy with this new buy, just hope that it lasts.

Im new to all this RC thing and ive had the twister for about a week now and i can hover it for a minute or so until i get a draft so i land before i lose it lol. ive broke the tail rotor but superglue fixes it, and when its trimmed out it hovers nicely.
