Good question. The GWS Mini Dragonfly has the boom glued at the main chassis and at the platic tail motor support (CA glue I assume). I tried to soften the glue at the tail end of the boom using CA remover due to the fact that the tail motor wasn't horizontal when it was delivered to me new but that didn't work. Perhaps acetone would work better? I haven't damaged my boom yet but when it does bust I will most likely have to use a drill to drill out the stem of the carbon fiber from the chassis. If it's too difficult I may even end up buying one of those aluminium chassis which come with a tail boom from HeliHobby.

the tail boom for my jabo 2 came out fairly easy. I just pulled & rotated it slowly out.

Very lucky, normally they have to be drilled out.
