Default painting cowl

Just built my first gasser. I had to use car paint for the cowl and wheel pants. base coat clear coat but for the clear coat I used clear enamel from ace hardware. Ive flown 2 gallons of gas through it so far. Ididnt get any gas on the paint yet but today I was applying the decals. I cleaned up one wheel pant with rubbing alcohol and messes up the clear coat. what clear coat are you guys useing thats gas prof.
