Zoom 400 inquiry
I have heard that the Zoom 400 is a realy good heli. Right now I have a gasser, and want to get an electric.
My main concern with the Zoom 400 is it's size. How big is it? I see pic all over but i cant tell how big it is. It looks like its alittle bit bigger than a micro. Could someone please give me some advice on this heli or one you think is better and why?
thanks

RE: Zoom 400 inquiry
I'm kinda a heli newbie but, I have a zoom. I hear that if you are a succesful heli pilot, that is great to fly. As for me, I think its kinda hard to fly. I think I have my gyro set up wrong though. Anyhow, it is a great little machine. Compared to my aerohawk, it is bigger. About 3 inches longer. The diff between the shogun/zoom heli and a micro has to be headspeed. The thing is flat out spinning fast even with the stock motor on a 3cell lipo. Plus, it has collective. I think you should get one. The tail is a little delicate and you will have frustrations for the week you try to fly it. Then, you'll understand how to not make the tail gears strip every time you fly it!!! Make sure you buy some spares!!! their 5 bucks. I just ordered 5 of them just in case! Hope this helps, mike
