Another Oil Question and SMOKE?
I have been using Mobil Jet Oil 254. Is this a problem with the Jet Cat 80 and 120?
Also, Can a Jet Cat 80(about 2 1/2 years old) be set up for Smoke, any sugestions?
Thanks, Scott

Oil
Hello Scott,
We get a lot of questions about oil. The factory recommended oil is Aeroshell 500.
THis does not mean other oils will not work, but we do not experiment, and therefore have no experience with many other oils. Some of the oils will work fine, but then we find out that over time they tend to affect the motor (remember by and large that these oils are not designed to be mixed with the fuel and combusted)
As for smaoke, JetCAT USA has smoke injection tubes in stock I believe, call them and check. They are easy to set up, you just inject the smoke oil into the hot exhaust about 2 inches aft of the nozzle.
