Default what can i run?

i am thinking about getting a hpi savage but i won't to run 30% nitro can i do this with the stock motor?

Sure you can. Don't know what it will do to the motor though. HPI engineers say to run 20 and that's probably the best. By running 30 you'll get a little, and I mean a little more performance, and shorten the engine life. In my dragster, the difference between 30 and 40 is only about a quarter second.

sorry, i missed that. the reason that i asked is that nitro contains oxigen and unless you're racing a really top end engine OR you live at high elevation you wont see any improvement in preformance from 30% to 35%. you probably will see some improvement with 30% over 20%.

i live at 8000ft so i have tried all 3, and for my situation i have to run at least 30%.

NOTE: all three (of the same brand) contain the same amount of oil so engine life is unaffected by nitro content.
