Default Building a NEW Skyraider Mach II

Lost my other Skyraider due to a crystal failure, it flipped and spiraled right down into a tree with thorns and broke it in 3 peices.[]
Now..this plane was sooo much fun to fly I bought another and the covering is much nicer than the old yellow and blue scheme.
All I have to do is install the radio gear and control horns and im ready to fly!
At 70.00..you feel at ease flying this one!

Just got her done!
This airplane balanced out with no weight added my other Skyraider took 2 oz. in the nose, wheel collars are steel with set screws
insted of plastic.
This is the only 2 differences in planes.

What engine do you use?

I just finished mine as well, but right now my evolution 46 is being repaired.
Would the evolution be a good engine for this one? From what I can tell, it will not fit with the supplied engine mount.

I just checked the dimensions, and the GMS is 35.7mm wide while the Evolution is 36mm, so it should fit too.

How's the performance with the GMS 47?

Thanx,

tycho
