Default Tip for cowling the muffler on an OS 1.20 FS Surpass.

For those of you using an OS 1.20 FS Surpass located inside the cawling here is "one" way to keep from drilling a hole in the cawl, and save $$ on a flex pipe.

This method works with a 90 degree header. Take your original 45 degree header place it into a vice then using a hack saw cut one threaded end away from the pipe itself. This will act as a nipple to join the muffler to the header. For locking I centered the locking nut on the nipple then added RTV Gold for bonding as it has a higher bonding then the lock tight does. I then joined the muffler to the header using the custom made nipple.

Depending on length a flex pipe may be needed.
