I used to get antenna tubes at my LHS. They were made by SIG. about 90 cents each. about 30" long.

But, I can't seem to find them now. Anyone know if they still make them?

I used a strip of coreflute, the plastic corrugated plastic sheeting of SPAD fame, in my last model. Just cut down a strip leaving one complete section. Cheap as chips.

In the past I have rolled a newspaper a couple of turns and taped or used CA. Plain paper would have looked better.

If you have a friend in the medical field-IV tubing works great-all the other gizmos included can be used in all kinds of places. Just be sure to get an unused one. Flipstart

OK. I finally found the item made by DuBro.

It's called Antenna HOUSING. It's 36" long.
Other manufacturers sell Antenna Tubing for cars which is more like 12".

Looks like Tower sells the DuBro item only in bulk, so you can get 24 for about $20.

Best bet is to go to your Hobby store where they probably will sell you single ones at about 0.80 - 1.00 each.

Exeter_Acres,

What aisle should I look in to find the plastic tubing? Haven't seen anything that small.

When I build my Pup I bought some thin music wire for additional bracing on the undercarriage. It came in a plasitic tube that was a perfect for the antenna.
