Solafilm staining

Hi all,How do you get rid of solafilm/solatex staining once removed from the airframe?i am worried about the glue dissolving as i use pva waterproof.Thanks in advance

I scrape the worst of it off with a razor blade, then wipe the remainder
off with rubbing alcohol and a rag.
