Default new to helis

hi im thinking of getting into electric helicopters. i don't want to spend over $200 on the electric heli alone. please suggest a few good trial and error helicopters

and how long does the rear tail motor last on those with them? i don't want one with a rear tail motor

tail motors can last quite a while if you don't abuse them. even with the cost of replacing motors occassionally, they are still quite a bit cheaper then a gear driven setup, as there you will be replacing gears frequently, and also have another servo to drag around.
