Default homelite blower

hi! i've just seen in a hardware store here a homelite blower 25cc (old model i guess) that's on sale for only about $30. is it worthed? will i be able to make it run in a boat in the first place? i have no experience in gas engines of all sort.
what do you think guys? i am thinking of putting it in a 40" to 48" deepvee or cat.
will i ( a total novice) be able to make this thing run?
thanks for any inputs.
just thought of the price, it's a bargain right?

For 30 you can hardly go wrong. Some props cost more than that.

Blowers dont generally have a clutch. Not necessary but definately a nice feature.

Ross, don't tempt members to dig up older threads!
Sometimes we like to see members look up threads as there isn't much that hasn't been asked before, especially ones where people ask why don't boats use air filters..........
I knew that it had to be an old thread without looking at the dates as Larry Broman (Old, Slow......) had a reply. I haven't seen Larry around on any of the boat forum sites in ages!
