Default eco 8 set up

just starting to put together a eco 8 my first cp heli jeti 30-3 cc45 esc gy401 10 cellgp3300 22 pinion. ive seen serveral posts about starting with a linear thottle curve 0 25 50 75 100 and half stick pitch at 5deg. is this a good starting point and will this hover at half stick? if so will that overheat the esc hovering at 50% throttle. i have also seen normal mode set up at 0 45 85 85 85 would this be better or will this make the throttle too sensitive at half stick down. Or do people with this curve switch to a idle 1 mode of a flat 85% throttle after spool up before they take off and if they do do they also land in idleup1.also on this second set up appox. where will the stick position be at hover? looking for some hovering and mild circuits at this time. sorry about so many questions i just want to get it right thanks.

Default RE: eco 8 set up

You might want to check out [link]http://runryder.com[/link]. There will be a lot of info on the eco 8. Also, I've found with most electric helis that the curve should have more throttle in the lower or mid range than a nitro copter... ie, 0-25-60-80-95.
