Glue Question
I'm caught in a mental lapse...
Is there a strong glue similar to the 3M sprays that can be applied to each part and then pressed together permanently? I would use the 3M spray adhesive, but my parts are too small to spray.
thanks,
Kirt D.

RE: Glue Question
Yes! The glue that comes with the GWS models works great as a non spray applied contact cement that won't eat foam. Brush/apply to each surface, let dry for a few minutes, and put your parts together. Works grat if you put GWS models together that way too-even though hey don't tell you that in the directions.
Alternatively, get a bottle of contact cement at the office supply store, or Lowe's.

RE: Glue Question
CA- The highly over rated glue they try to sell you at the hobby shop, good for instant bonding of eyeballs, finger, and other body parts to the workbench, model parts, ect.
Also known as "Super Glue".
Not easily sandable.
Makes a grey cloud on covering, or anything plastic.

RE: Glue Question
Dap makes a contact cement that you brush on, called Weldwood. It's applied to both pieces that you want to join, wait about a minute until the glue doesn't feel tacky to the touch, then press the pieces together; just make sure they are in perfect alignment, because it's an instant bond and won't shift. It's the same stuff cabinet makers put laminate countertops on with. You can buy it in small bottles, about 5-6 ounces. Good stuff.
