I did not know Shockwave was still around. I have not seen him since the Point Magoo Airshow 10+ years ago. It is one super cool truck. (the mig is not bad either)

Yep Shockwave is here each & every year at our airshow at Oceana NAS.Very awesome to say the least & an amazing machine to watch. What was most impressive this year at the airshow was when the AT&T sponsored Skyblazers F86 Sabre piloted by the great retired Commander Daryll Snodgrass flew along side the Shockwave on the strait away.
Commander Snodgrass is one of the most highly achieved Navy pilots -he has more flight hours in the F14 than any other F14 pilot to date.He can fly a jet like you wouldn't believe, does like it's in his sleep. You may have heard or seen footage of his knife edge passes on the deck cutting a ribbon where he is approx. 75-100 feet off the deck-friggen amazing. He didn't do the ribbon cutting this year.He does always do his knife edges passes both belly up & topside up all the way down the runway. He does 3 demos flights every year in the F86 first followed by the F14 & Corsair.Puts on a truly amazing show, but wait how did I end up on The subject of him instead of the shockwave.LOL Ohh wait that's right it stemmed from mentioning the Shockwave and the F86 going head to head [8D]
