any body know. website says 4.5 lbs. i.m assuming no muff. the ignition unit does'nt weigh much right?

I weighed mine with the ignition, no muffler at 4.7 lbs. I just got the Bisson and it's quite light. I'll weigh it when I get home this week.

wow is that light! that muffler can't weigh that much. i had a hard time believing that it only weighs about 4 1/2 lbs! thanks a bunch.

Mine weighs out at 5 lbs 5 oz with muffler and ignition if I remember correctly....

Flip and Fly

Here's the weight of my ZDZ 80 with a Bisson pitts muffler, and ready to fly weight with ignition and battery. Love this motor, just ordered a JMB can for it. If you went with a side mount you would save about 3 or 4 ounces I would think.

it's definitly coming in at a pound lighter than the brison or fpe.
